It all begins with Anna, a lonely divorced landlady struggling to raise her two students, Alex and Jasmine, while working tirelessly to pay off mounting debts. To secure Alex's future, Anna insists he attend private tutoring sessions with her old friend, Ms. Parker, a calculating and manipulative woman who sees more in Alex than just a student.
